Oat Printed T-shirt Front

Introducing CARVÉ Core: Everyday Essentials, Our Signature Detail

The pieces you reach for most often earn their place by being easy to wear. A tee that works with your favourite jeans, sits comfortably under an open shirt and still feels right when the rest of the outfit changes. That is the place CARVÉ Core occupies: everyday essentials with a recognisable signature.

The Core CV T-Shirt brings together certified organic cotton, a lightweight fabric and the CV monogram. The approach is simple: an understated piece that gives you room to make the outfit your own.

A closer look at the Core CV tee

The current Core tees use 155gsm certified organic cotton. GSM describes fabric weight in grams per square metre; here, it gives you a useful indication of the lightweight fabric. It does not describe the size of the garment or guarantee a particular fit.

That lighter weight makes the tee a useful starting layer. Wear it on its own when the weather allows, beneath an overshirt when you want another texture, or under a hoodie as temperatures fall. Choose the size using the guide on the individual product page, then consider how much room you prefer through the body.

The CV monogram is the identifying detail. It keeps the branding contained, allowing the colour, silhouette and other pieces in your outfit to do their own work.

Find your colour

Core includes familiar wardrobe shades alongside softer neutrals and blues. Start with the colours you already wear most often: a tee will usually get more use when it works with trousers and layers you already own.

  • Black: a strong base for blue denim, pale trousers or an all-black outfit with contrasting textures.
  • White: a crisp contrast beneath darker shirts and jackets, or a straightforward partner for denim.
  • Oat: a warmer neutral to pair with black, olive or other soft shades.
  • Slate Grey: an alternative to black when you want a gentler contrast.
  • Navy: a deeper blue that works with stone, grey and lighter denim.
  • Stone Blue: a softer colour option for neutral outfits.
  • Bright Blue: a clearer point of colour, balanced by simple trousers and restrained accessories.

Check each product page for current sizes and availability. Colour choice is personal; there is no need to build a wardrobe around shades you do not enjoy wearing.

Three ways to start wearing Core

Keep the everyday combination simple

Pair a black or white tee with straight-leg jeans and trainers. Check where the hem meets the waistband and whether the sleeves sit comfortably when your arms move. Small adjustments to proportion can make a familiar combination feel more considered.

Add a relaxed layer

Wear an Oat tee beneath a dark open shirt. The lighter base brings contrast around the neckline, while the shirt adds shape. Keep enough room in the outer layer so the tee does not bunch at the shoulders.

Let colour lead

Try Bright Blue with black trousers and simple footwear. Keeping the supporting pieces quiet lets the tee provide the focal point without requiring a complicated outfit.

Choose your size and care for it

The current Core tee guides use body measurements. Read the guide on your chosen product and follow its measuring instructions; a chest measurement taken around your body is different from the width of a T-shirt laid flat. If you fall between sizes, the current guide advises choosing the larger of the two.

The listed care advice is straightforward: wash cool and hang dry. Follow the garment label for any additional instructions.
